Qualifier Document
Setup rebate qualifications by grouping individual SKUs / product hierarchies (or any other material master characteristics) into qualifier documents
Contract
Setup the rebate contract by selecting the eligible customer / customer hierarchy
Rebate Conditions
Create benefit conditions ( % of sales, Fixed Amount Per UoM, Lump Sum ) by selecting the qualifier documents and assigning corresponding rebate condition rates to each of them
Calculation & Tracking
Automatically calculate the rebate payable by capturing data from the sales invoice and contract.
Monitor customer rebates at the individual qualifier and contract level
Accrual
Calculate and post accrual FI documents for the rebate contracts directly into SAP
Accruals are posted at the customer and SKU level
Settlement
Settle customer rebates depending on the settlement method agreed with the customer.
The solution could either post credit memos or book vendor invoices into SAP based on the settlement method selected in the contract
Closeout
Releasing the excess accruals and closing out the contract.
*This solution is currently built for Customer Rebates however it could be customised to also work for Vendor Rebates, Sales Incentives, and Royalty Management
